Bullying (Man's inhumanity to Man)

Even though bullying is wrong, it will always be a part of the world and it will most likely never go away.  This is because bullies have a way of influencing people.  They intimidate others and people feel like their only option is to follow them in what they're doing.  In Lord of the Flies, Jack has influenced almost everybody on the island except for Piggy.  At the beginning of the book, Ralph was sort of like a friend to Piggy.  But when Jack came along, that friendship was shortly over.  Jack influenced Ralph and now when Jack makes fun of Piggy or does something to him, Ralph goes along with it.  This is a perfect example of how bullies influence and intimidate.  There will probably never be an end to bullying and if there is, it will be a long time from now.
